Human kidney plays an important role in our urinary system. It filters, absorbs and excretes waste fluids in our body in a form of urine. Our kidney is the organ responsible for maintaining water and electrolyte balance in our body. Therefore taking good care of our kidney is vital and essential to live a healthy life. A healthy kidney is a healthy life.
But we cannot deny the fact that there are people who abuse their body unconsciously by overly enjoying life through excessive alcohol drinking, insufficient water intake, and abusing our body by working long hours. If you know of someone that resembles a person I mention above, you should know the outcome of what they are doing to themselves.
I will tell you what the kidney stone symptoms are to make you aware of when to act for medical attention.
1. If you feel a dull pain originated in your lower back. Be aware of it as it is the very first symptom any person would feel if a kidney stone is developing. Start drinking the required amount of water intake daily, 8 glasses of water per day.
2. If you feel intense pain when urinating or discomfort. A possible blockage formation may be present in your kidney. Drink plenty of water and juices, it helps the forming particles in kidney stone to dissolve and flow along when you urinate.
3. Squirting sensation internally. When fluids try to pass through a blockage this feeling sensation will happened. And even pain is tolerable, but do not take it for granted, go as soon as possible for a medical check-up. Always remember Prevention is better than Cure.
4. If you feel feverish and chilled and your energy level drop dramatically with the presence of sharp pain in the abdominal part, you could possibly be having a kidney stone attack. No time to wait, act right way to seek for medical attention. This symptom shows that there is an infection in your kidney. There is no point in suffering too much pain when you can go to a doctor and see to it properly.
But there is no need for us to wait until we see one or more kidney stone symptoms before we take good care of our kidney. Not just our kidney but the whole body.
